History

Founded in 1972 as The Great Bicycle Conspiracy, Seattle Publishing grew to become the leading cyclist lifestyle publisher in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1988, Seattle Publishing has used their experience and expertise to help companies and various organizations professionalize and streamline their print, web and catalog publications.

In 1994, Seattle Publishing created the Gutenberg Publishing System®. Gutenberg eventually became available to clients for their own in-house publishing departments. Seattle Publishing's blend of tradition and technology is now available in an array of services including Seattle Publishing Designs, the Gutenberg Publishing System® and custom projects to meet your business goals.

Seattle Publishing's home office is located in the historic Pioneer Square district in downtown Seattle. The building that houses the home office was once the home of the city's first printing company – a connection not lost on the professionals that work here now. Seattle Publishing prides itself on reliable solutions and superior results.
